Oh, I could never really give him up anyway. My husband loves the little freak.
I'm glad to hear Gutsy is being calm. Sounds like he had already decided that's where he wanted to be, and now he knows the smell of home. And truly, the shelter is a scary place that no doubt smells like disease and death to the animals there. If I were a bit of a wild kitty, I'd probably freak out there, too.

Very true, Gal - to their sensitive noses (and ears), it must be a horror. No matter how appealing to the human eye (this shelter underwent extensive renovations), it's much different for the animals.

Mr. Gutsy - Day Two:

Very responsive and eager to get cuddles through the crate. Played with the fish toy my husband suspended from the crate top.

Great appetite, uses litterbox (yeah), currently snoozing (saving up energy so he can howl at the moon like last night, which definitely caused sleep interruption for the dogs and me - hubby would sleep through much noisier things).

Now, how to find him a forever home?

He is doing very well in his 'condo', great appetite, etc., loves his scritches through the wire and the toys.

Can hear the car when I approach, and starts 'talking'.

I am reaching out to anyone I can think of who might be an appropriate forever home ...
